The Ontario Secondary School Diploma is the official high school diploma awarded by the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Recognized internationally, the OSSD emphasizes academic achievement, continuous assessment flexible course selection, student wellbeing
and university readiness.
The OSSD model allows students to demonstrate learning over time rather than relying only on high-stakes examinations.

Academic Programme
Grades 8–10
Students follow a programme aligned with:

During these years, students build foundational academic skills while preparing for the OSSD pathway. The programme contributes toward equivalency credits recognized by the Ontario system.
Grades 11–12
Students begin their formal Ontario diploma coursework in partnership with Maple Bear Toronto.

Admission Requirements: Current Maple Bear Students
- Previous year end-of-year academic transcript
- Current year year-to-date academic transcript
- Yellow or green score on the English and Math MAP tests (taken in spring of Grade 7)
Admission Requirements: External Applicants
- Previous year end-of-year academic transcript
- Current year end-to-date academic transcript
- Yellow or green score on the English and Math MAP tests (students sit the test at Maple Bear Sofia)
- Reference form completed by the students's current class teacher
- Interview with applicant
